Fort Piqua is a historic hotel building renovated for public uses including a library in downtown Piqua, Ohio. It was designed by Joseph W. Yost, and was built in 1890-1891 by the partnership of Orr and Staler after their land acquisition of this location. The final structure cost was approximately $125,000. This hotel was one of the grandest hotels for miles and miles around. Surely when the school's students came to town they were certainly amazed by this magnificent structure.
